Camping - Maumee Bay State Park

Only a month out of school, Bobbi and I decided it was time for a vacation. Trying to find somewhere to go for the weekend, we decided on Maumee Bay State Park. It was a little over two hours away from me, and just over an hour from her, so it worked out nice.

On Friday we met at Outback after I got out of work. Dinner was really good, and after we headed up to the campground. We checked in, unpacked some stuff, and then went grocery shopping. What a trip that was, learning that you just can't get
"grillable chicken" and to not put bread on the bottom of the basket, and everything else.

Saturday and Sunday were really nice. We did some cooking, and I even helped with the chicken. It turned out really good. Saturday evening, after a long day at the beach, we went for a bike ride along the lake. It was really nice because the sun was starting to set, and we ended up riding into the town of Oregon before we turned around to come back. I was a little scared though because on our way back you could see ambulance lights and everything else in our camping loop. For once Bobbi was the calm one while I was freaking out.
